How It Works

As your REALTOR® I can show you homes that are listed on the MLS, New
Construction homes, or homes that are For Sale by Owner. I will explain Real Estate
Agency to you, and provide you with a brochure on this, which you will need to initial
or sign as mandated by the NC commission. The Real Estate industry is guided and
licensed by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

Even though I am associated with a Realty Company ... Buyers Advantage Group
Realty, LLC, I am an Independent Contractor and I function as a self-employed
person. I am responsible for all my own business expenses, including education,
transportation, advertising, meals, and so forth. My income is from the commission of
a sale, which is paid only after a transaction has closed.

The commission is generally paid by the seller, and is shared by the listing company,
the listing agent, the selling company, and the selling agent. The
Buyer does not pay commission.

Typically a REALTOR® selling a home earns a commission of less than 2 percent
(Kevin Brafford, NC Director of Communications). There are no company 401k plans,
no paid vacations, nor health care benefits.

In light of these facts, I appreciate your loyalty to me as a client, and in return you
